We support ending the violence and human rights violations.
Pursuant to the Texas Specialty Metals, Inc. Conflict Minerals Policy:

• TSM supports the aims and objectives of the U.S. legislation on the supply of conflict minerals
• TSM will not knowingly procure specified metals that originate from facilities in the covered countries that are not certified as conflict free
• TSM will require its suppliers to provide written documentation about the source of conflict minerals and smelters to ensure compliance with these requirements

The U.S. Small Business Administration recently awarded Texas Specialty Metals, Inc. HUBZone Certification #52799.

In a nutshell, HUBZones are determined by US Census data and correlate to areas of higher unemployment. The SBA heavily scrutinizes every applicant to ensure certification is given to viable companies and those that would likely have the greatest positive impact to the local economy.
